And the buyer is the person who executes the order (hereinafter referred to as "Buyer/Buyer"). The following general terms and conditions apply only to business relationships between Renewed AB and its customers.

Renewed AB does not enter into agreements with minors. (Chapter 9, Section 1, Parent Code)

Renewed AB reserves the right to change these terms and conditions by a unilateral decision without notice. Amendments to law take effect immediately as they are unless otherwise provided by law.

Renewed AB is not responsible for damage caused by force majeure. Renewed AB notifies the customer as soon as possible if circumstances constituting force majeure occur.

Clients

Renewed AB sells products and services to consumers and companies. In the case of consumer trade, current consumer protection legislation in Sweden and the EU is followed. These contractual terms do not apply to the extent that they limit the consumer's rights established in the mandatory legislation.

In purchase agreements between corporate customers and Renewed AB, Sweden's Purchase Act is applied, unless otherwise specifically stipulated in these terms of agreement or with the customer. The customer is obliged to provide their full contact details when ordering, which for consumer customers includes at least name, address, a working telephone number and e-mail address. Information required of business customers is the contact person's name, telephone number, e-mail address, organization number, postal address and any billing address.

In connection with your registration and/or order, you agree that we store and use your data in our business to complete and provide the service you can expect from us. According to the GDPR (Personal Data Act), you have the right to receive the information that we have registered on you. In accordance with the Personal Data Act (1998:204), Renewed AB also has the right to process and disclose data where there is a factual connection (such as direct marketing). If you consider it to be incorrect or irrelevant, you can request correction or removal from our customer register. Contact our customer service and we will help you.

We may also contact you as both a business and private customer to ask if you would like to leave a review of our product after completing the order. This is completely voluntary and you will only be contacted once, even if you place several orders in the future.

Products and price list

All prices are stated in Swedish kronor including VAT. Renewed AB reserves itself for any errors in price and product information or otherwise on the website. We reserve the right for final sales, stock differences, technical problems and possible typographical errors on our site or in our advertisements. We reserve the right to cancel incorrect orders.

The product images on the website do not guarantee that the product's exact appearance, color and condition are reproduced. We reserve the right for any errors in the product information and reserve the right to change product information and prices without prior notice. Products and services are always sold as is and the consumer has the right to cancel the purchase in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Together with Klarna we offer invoice payment, partial payment, credit card payment and direct payment. This payment solution is called Klarna Checkout. By leaving information at checkout, you agree to Klarna's terms and conditions. By clicking "Complete purchase" you agree to Renewed AB's general terms and conditions.

With Klarna Checkout, you get information about what you need to do to complete the purchase, depending on which purchase option you choose. Klarna manages your personal data and your payment. Credit information is not taken directly in Klarna Checkout, but when necessary depending on the payment option you have chosen. Credit information taken by Klarna does not affect your credit rating and cannot be seen by others who request credit information like you, such as banks.

You can also choose to pay with Shopify Pay which offers card payment. 

We accept payments through Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, AMEX, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Union Pay through Shopify Payments. When you pay by card, these transactions are handled by our payment partner Stripe, which also guarantees security.  When you place an order, the money is reserved in your bank account. After we have processed the order, the money is withdrawn from your bank account within 1-3 banking days, depending on your bank's processing time.

Our website uses the security solution 3D-Secure for card purchases. 3D-Secure is a security service for payments on the internet developed by the card networks Visa and MasterCard.

Shipment

Your order is sent with the default delivery method to an agent, parcel box or with home delivery. Processing an order takes on average 0-1 working days after an order confirmation has been sent to you as a customer and delivery usually takes 1-3 working days.

Information on delivery times has been established on the basis of information provided by the carrier. Renewed AB notifies the customer of any delivery delays that Renewed is informed about by the carrier. The customer has the right to cancel his purchase if he considers that the delay is unreasonable. A binding purchase agreement comes into force after the order is registered in Renewed AB's system.

Free returns during the right of withdrawal period.

If the customer wishes to make changes to contact details or delivery address on a delivery that has already been sent out to the customer, a fee of SEK 250 will be added. 

If the product you bought has been damaged during transport, we ask you to inform our customer service about this as soon as possible.

Return Policy

A buyer has the right to cancel his purchase of a product in accordance with the provisions of the Distance Contracts Act (2005:59). The right of withdrawal means that the buyer can return the goods to the seller without giving a reason. The buyer must notify the seller of the intention to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods.
You may have to pay a depreciation deduction if you examined the product more than necessary and the product can no longer be sold in the condition in which you purchased the product.

The notification from the buyer to the seller of the intention to use the right of withdrawal should be in writing for documentation reasons. Before an item is returned, a confirmation must be received from the seller with instructions on how to carry out the return. Remember to handle the item carefully and only to the extent necessary to determine the nature and characteristics of the item. If you handle the item more than what is allowed, you are responsible for the reduced value of the item and we then reserve the right to make a deduction for the reduced value when making the refund.

When invoking the right of withdrawal, the customer must contact the company via email at kontakt@renewed.se and notify that you wish to invoke your right of withdrawal. The customer then needs to fill in and send in the cancellation form that you can find here.

The buyer must without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the notification after the right of withdrawal has been granted, return the goods or hand them over to the seller, if the seller has not offered to arrange collection of the goods.

The refund will be made without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which we received your notice that you have canceled the purchase. However, we reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the item back from you or until you have submitted proof that you returned the item, whichever occurs first.

Please note that it is important that if you regret a purchase and want to return the product, you first need to pick up the package and then return it. We reserve the right to charge costs for handling that arise in the case of unclaimed packages (return shipping, shipping costs, and the like).

Renewed AB must first confirm that the return is approved for return and that the cancellation period has not passed before the item is sent back. We will then send you a return shipping slip that you must use to return your product. If you use a waybill sent from us at Renewed AB, we are responsible for the delivery from the time it has been submitted to a postal agent until it has arrived at us. Always make sure to get a receipt from your postal agent verifying that you submitted the return.

Important information regarding product returns

If you are going to submit your iPhone for a complaint or return, it is important that you remove the PIN code on your phone and for Apple devices turn off the "Find my iPhone" function and for Androids remove your Google accounts on your phone, i.e. removes your Google lock. If these are not removed, we cannot receive the product. As you are the one who has activated it, you are the one to turn it off we cannot handle your device and charge a handling fee of SEK 350 to continue handling your case. Don't forget to back up your data.

1: Enter the Settings and choose iCloud

2: Shut down "Find my iPhone" by dragging the button to the left. Enter your password again Apple ID

3: Now the device will turn off “Find my iPhone”.

4: If the button is not green, you have successfully disabled the feature.

Alternatively

1: Go to www.icloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID

2: Click Find My iPhone.

3: Select all devices and click on the device to be deleted and thus deactivated from find my iPhone.

4: If the device has been switched off for less than 24 hours, it is grayed out and it says how long it has been offline. To turn off Find My iPhone click on the device again and you will get a gray cross, click this.

5: Click Remove and Find My iPhone will be turned off on the selected device

If you are going to hand in your Samsung, don't forget to reset the phone to its original settings. Note that all data, such as photos and videos, will be lost from the device when you perform a factory reset. Therefore, save what you want to keep before doing a factory reset.

1: Open Settings and scroll down to General Management. Then click Restore.

2: Factory data reset restores the mobile to factory settings. All data, including files and downloaded programs, will be deleted.

1. Open settings on your mobile. 

2. Go to accounts. 

3. Select delete all accounts on the mobile. 

4. Confirm with your password. 

5. Finish by factory resetting the mobile. 

Many

We offer a 12-month warranty free of charge on all our phones, tablets and watches. The warranty starts to apply from the day of purchase or when you have received the item. The exception to this warranty are accessories and consumables such as batteries that have a 6-month warranty. In order for batteries to be deemed to be in need of replacement during the first 6 months, the battery's measurable percentage fulfillment must be below 80%.

The buyer is responsible for familiarizing himself with the product's warranty conditions before putting the product into use.

Faults that arise during the warranty period must be considered original. Should it turn out that a fault with the product is due to damage caused by the customer, the warranty does not apply. The warranty covers defects that were present at the time of sale and thus not defects that are attributable to any external impact, e.g. moisture, drop or impact damage. If the product has been damaged or has external damage that was not present at the time of sale, the warranty ceases to apply. 

The warranty includes:

  • Free examination of the damage
  • Fast handling after receiving the product
  • Free replacement for an equivalent product if for some reason we cannot fix the fault

As our products are carefully checked, you can safely buy a phone from us at the price of a used one but with the same functionality as a new one.

You also have a 14-day right of withdrawal if you change your mind and want to return your product.

In cases that are not covered by the guarantee, an examination cost of SEK 350 is added. 

The points below are not covered by Renewed AB's guarantee: 

  • Screen damage and cracks: Damage to the screen or cracks in the device.
  • Moisture damage: The warranty does not apply to products that have been damaged by moisture.
  • Self-inflicted injuries: Damage caused by physical impact, improper use or careless handling.
  • Improper use: Damage caused by careless or incorrect handling.
  • Normal wear: Normal wear and tear on the phone and battery is not included in the warranty.
  • Battery problem after 6 months: Failure of the battery that occurs after six months.
  • Shipping damage: Damage during transport caused by the sender's negligence is not covered. The product must be packed properly.
  • Software error: Software errors, including application problems and iCloud-related errors, are not covered by the warranty.
  • Viruses and malware: Removal of viruses or other malware is not covered by the warranty.
  • Serial number/IMEI changes: If the serial number or IMEI has changed or become unreadable, the warranty is void.
  • Indirect damages or economic losses: Indirect damages or financial losses, such as lost data files, are not covered.
  • Unauthorized repairs: If the product has been repaired by the customer or an unauthorized party.
  • Login and password: Lost iCloud accounts/Google Account, Apple ID or password are not covered by the warranty.
  • Unpredictable events: Damage caused by accident, negligence or overvoltage.
  • Unauthorized manipulation: Damage resulting from cutting power cords or physically opening the product.

Complaints

A product that turns out to be defective must be sent back to us as soon as possible. The customer is responsible for backing up data files before submitting the product for maintenance. The product sent must be packaged with care. If the phone is delivered and returned with the label "Fragile", i.e. the handling of the product requires a separate action, the Customer is obliged to pay the costs of delivery.

In the case of returns covered by the guarantee, the following must be included:

  • Order confirmation sent by e-mail that serves as a receipt.
  • The customer's contact details.
  • The customer's description of the fault.
  • All peripherals that came with the original packaging.

In the event of an approved complaint, Renewed AB replaces the customer with an equivalent product or by refunding the purchase. The refund takes place within 1-5 banking days after the complaint has been approved.

You as a customer have the right to complain for 3 years according to the Consumer Purchase Act. We ask that you complain to us within a reasonable time. Should an error be discovered just before 3 years have passed, you have another 2 months to report the error.

Distribution of responsibilities & Ownership

Renewed AB products and services are sold as is. We are not responsible for direct or indirect costs caused by errors in or use of products or services, or for loss of income.

Some features or services provided may require the opening of a user account (including Apple ID user and password settings). The customer is responsible for all activity that occurs on their account and secures their account information, including their password. Using someone else's Apple ID, password, or account without the account holder's permission is prohibited. Renewed AB cannot and does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage caused by not taking these responsibilities into account. Renewed AB is not responsible when the user forgets their Apple ID or password. Due to information and personal data security, Renewed AB is also not responsible for providing the original purchase receipt from the original owner of the phone.

All goods remain the property of Renewed AB until full payment has been received by the company. All fraud attempts are reported to the police. Renewed AB reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected.

Application of Law and Jurisdiction

Swedish law applies to these terms and your use of this website. To the extent permitted by law, a Swedish court shall have exclusive jurisdiction with regard to disputes arising from these terms or your use of the website, with the exception of cases where Renewed AB voluntarily chooses to take legal action against a customer/user where it has its residence.

If a competent court, authority or arbitration panel should find that any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the provision in question and all other provisions shall be valid and enforceable to the extent permitted by applicable law. The provisions declared invalid or unenforceable will be replaced by relevant legal guidance and advice.

Changes to Terms

Renewed AB reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on the website. Changes apply from the moment you have accepted the Terms (in connection with a new purchase or when visiting the website), alternatively 30 days after we have informed you of the changes. However, Renewed AB recommends that you stay updated on the website regularly to be aware of any changes to the Terms and Conditions.

If we don't agree

The buyer can advantageously turn to their municipality's consumer advisor for advice and support in the event of a potential conflict.

The parties shall try to resolve any disputes amicably. As a consumer, however, you can always refer any dispute to the General Complaints Board (ARN). You can contact ARN either via their website www.arn.se or post:

Parties to the case are the seller, i.e. Renewed AB under and the original buyer of the goods. All disputes must be resolved according to Swedish legislation.

Renewed AB undertakes to follow the decision of the general complaints board. The buyer can also turn to the EU ODR as a dispute resolution body at their web address https://ec.europa.eu/odr
