These terms and conditions apply when you sell a unit to Renewed AB. If you represent a company or other legal entity, please contact us by email at kontakt@renewed.se.

We recommend that you read these terms and conditions carefully before completing the sale. By completing the sales form and completing the sale, you agree to Renewed's Terms of Service. Renewed reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject a sale.

Seller

By selling your device to Renewed and agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that:

  • You are a private individual residing within the EU and have the legal right to enter into a binding contract.
  • You are the rightful owner of the device and have full rights to sell it and receive payment.
  • You have reached the legal age to enter into a contract. If you are a minor, permission from a parent or guardian is required.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact information, including name, billing and shipping address, a valid phone number, and a working email address. Renewed reserves the right to request additional information if necessary.

If requested information is not provided within 14 days, the phone will be returned to you.

By selling your device to Renewed, you grant us full rights to examine the device to identify any missing parts or damage. This may include physically opening the product for a thorough inspection.

Terms of sale

Sales orders are valid for up to 14 days from the date they are issued. After this period, Renewed has the right to adjust the price based on the current market value of the unit.

Once we have received your device and completed an inspection, the price may be updated based on its condition. If the price assessment changes, you will receive a new final offer. You will then have the option to either accept the revised offer or have your device returned at no additional cost.

Renewed reserves the right to request additional information regarding device ownership as well as documentation confirming your identity.

Shipping and Responsibility

  • You are responsible for packaging the device securely for transport.
  • Renewed provides shipping labels and is responsible for the shipment from the time the package is handed over to the carrier. If the device is lost or damaged in transit, Renewed is responsible for any losses.
  • Packages may contain a maximum of two (2) units. For more units, separate shipments must be used.
  • Do not send with original packaging, SIM card, charging cables or other accessories. These will not be returned.

Management of blacklisted and MDM-locked devices

Renewed does not purchase blacklisted or MDM-locked devices.

If the device is suspected to be stolen or lost:

  • Renewed will quarantine the device for 14 days and hold payment until ownership is verified.
  • You are responsible for contacting the operator, store or previous owner to prove ownership.
  • If the problem is not resolved within 30 days, the matter will be handled in accordance with applicable law and may be referred to relevant authorities.
  • If the device is blacklisted after payment, Renewed may request that you refund the amount or that ownership be transferred back to you.
  • If we receive information that the device has been reported stolen after it has already been resold, we will work with authorities and the relevant operator to determine the rightful owner.
  • In the event of any dispute regarding ownership of the device, Renewed reserves the right to refer the matter to law enforcement authorities and not complete the transaction until the dispute is resolved.

For MDM locked devices:

·         Devices connected to Mobile Device Management (MDM) are typically owned by companies and may not be resold by a private individual.

·         If we discover a device is MDM locked, we will return it to you at no charge, provided there is no suspicion of fraud.

·         If there is reasonable cause to believe that the device has been sold in bad faith, such as by attempting to hide the MDM lock, Renewed may take legal action and report the matter to the relevant authorities.

Payment

  • Payment is based on the condition and market value of the unit upon inspection.
  • If the unit matches what you specified, the agreed amount will be paid. If the unit is in worse condition, a new offer will be sent.
  • If you do not accept the revised price, the device will be returned free of charge.
  • Payment is made within 1–3 business days after approved inspection.
  • The seller is responsible for providing correct bank details.

GDPR and personal data

Your customer data is stored in Renewed's customer register to manage and administer customer relationships. We comply with GDPR and you have the right to request an extract, deletion or restriction of your data. For more information, see our privacy policy.

Limitation of Liability

Renewed is not liable for indirect damages, such as lost revenue or business opportunities, and disclaims liability in the event of force majeure.
