These terms apply when you sell a device to Renewed AB. If you represent a company or another legal entity, please contact us via email at kontakt@renewed.se.

We recommend that you read these terms carefully before completing the sale. By filling out the sales form and finalizing the sale, you agree to Renewed's terms of use. Renewed reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject a sale.


Seller

By selling your device to Renewed and accepting these terms, you confirm that:

  • You are a private individual residing within the EU and have the legal right to enter into a binding agreement.

  • You are the rightful owner of the device and have full rights to sell it and receive payment.

  • You have reached the legal age required to enter into contracts. If you are a minor, parental or guardian consent is required.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact details, including name, billing and shipping address, a valid phone number, and a working email address. Renewed reserves the right to request additional information if necessary.

If the requested information is not provided within 30 days, the phone will be returned to you.

By selling your device to Renewed, you grant us full permission to examine the device to identify any missing parts or damage. This may include physically opening the product for a thorough inspection.


Terms of Sale

Sales orders are valid for up to 14 days from the date they are issued. After this period, Renewed has the right to adjust the price based on the device's current market value.

Once we have received your device and completed an inspection, the price may be updated based on its condition. If the valuation changes, you will receive a new final offer. You then have the option to either accept the revised offer or have your device returned at no extra cost.

Renewed reserves the right to request further information regarding ownership of the device and documentation verifying your identity.


Shipping and Responsibility

  • You are responsible for securely packaging the device for transport.

  • Renewed provides shipping labels and assumes responsibility for the shipment once the package has been handed over to the carrier. If the device is lost or damaged during transit, Renewed covers any losses.

  • Each package may contain a maximum of two (2) devices. For more devices, separate shipments must be used.

  • Do not include original packaging, SIM cards, charging cables, or other accessories. These will not be returned.


Handling of Blacklisted and MDM-Locked Devices

Renewed does not purchase blacklisted or MDM-locked devices.

If the device is suspected to be stolen or lost:

  • Renewed will quarantine the device for 14 days and withhold payment until ownership has been verified.

  • You are responsible for contacting the carrier, store, or previous owner to verify ownership.

  • If the issue is not resolved within 30 days, the case will be handled in accordance with applicable law and may be forwarded to the relevant authorities.

  • If the device is blacklisted after payment has been made, Renewed may request a refund or that ownership be transferred back to you.

  • If we receive information that the device was reported stolen after it has already been resold, we will cooperate with authorities and the relevant carrier to determine the rightful owner.

  • In case of ownership disputes, Renewed reserves the right to refer the matter to law enforcement and to withhold completion of the transaction until the dispute is resolved.

For MDM-locked devices:

  • Devices connected to Mobile Device Management (MDM) are usually owned by companies and may not be resold by private individuals.

  • If we discover that a device is MDM-locked, we will return it to you at no cost, provided there is no suspicion of fraud.

  • If there are reasonable grounds to believe the device was sold in bad faith—for example, if an attempt was made to hide the MDM lock—Renewed may take legal action and report the matter to the relevant authorities.


Payment

  • Payment is based on the condition and market value of the device upon inspection.

  • If the device matches the description you provided, the agreed amount will be paid. If the device is in worse condition, a new offer will be sent.

  • If you do not accept the revised offer, the device will be returned free of charge.

  • Payment is made within 1–3 business days after the inspection is approved.

  • The seller is responsible for providing accurate bank details.


GDPR and Personal Data

Your customer data is stored in Renewed's customer register to manage and administer the customer relationship. We comply with GDPR, and you have the right to request an extract, deletion, or restriction of your data. For more information, please see our privacy policy.


Limitation of Liability

Renewed is not liable for indirect damages, such as lost revenue or business opportunities, and disclaims responsibility in the event of force majeure.

By submitting your device, you accept these terms.
